Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision for Washington Counselors

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.  I have provided clinical supervision since 2004, both in an agency child/family agency setting and private practice. I have worked with graduate level interns, Associate Licensed Counselors and Licensed Clinical Supervisors, providing both consultation and supervision.  My counseling experience has been in working with kids, teens, families, groups, adults and couples. Outside of private practice (since 2002), I also worked in an agency setting with kid’s and their family’s for over 21 years. I have also taught adjunct for 3 universities in the Spokane, Washington area. I also served as the Washington Counseling Association (WCA) President for over 3 years. I am currently serving on a Clinical Supervisor Committee with the Washington Mental Health Counselor Association, evaluating and making recommendations around supervision needs, recommendations and standards.  It is these experiences that I draw from in the clinical supervision I offer.

I also run a Facebook page for counselors, where I post about learning and inspiration within our profession, across a diverse number of topics. Please join myself and other counselors at Facebook .

My personal style for supervision is fourfold:
Clinical supervision is primarily offered to Washington State Counselors who are working towards licensure or who would like to consult on cases. Services are provided online, face-to-face for those who have limited supervision resources in their area or who prefer online supervision. Services require a written contract.
